    QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES

     


    1.  Has the second applicant been subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment, in breach of Article 3 of the Convention, on account of her mental suffering associated with the alleged denial of prompt and adequate medical care to her son in detention and his death?

     


    2.  Has there been a breach of Article 34 of the Convention on account of the delay in the authorities compliance with Rule 39 of the Rules of Court, under which the Court indicated to the Government on 17 June 2008 the necessity of the first applicants immediate hospitalisation and appropriate treatment?
