(1) Alan Goodlad (2) Rosemary Ann Goodlad v (1) Raymond Bob Tonkinson (2) Christopher Robert Tonkinson (3) Janet Parkinson (Contracts and options : Options) [2017] UKFTT 678 (PC) (29 August 2017)
Neutral Citation Number: [2017] UKFTT 678 (PC) Option agreement. Applicant (grantor) claimed that prior to exchange of the executed deeds, his solicitor made a change in the wording which had been suggested by the other side but which his solicitor did not tell him about. He complained that the final version did not accord with what he had intended. The point failed as the solicitor had ostensible authority to make the change.
