EXPORTATION OF CERTAIN GOODS (CONDENSED MILK) ORDER, 1938

Dated 13th September, 1938.

The Revenue Commissioners, in pursuance of the powers conferred on them by Section 139 of the Customs Consolidation Act, 1876, hereby order as follows:--

1. The exporter or shipper of condensed milk intended for exportation shall make due entry and obtain clearance of such condensed milk before shipment or exportation.

2. The entry required under paragraph 1 of this Order shall be made by delivering to the Collector or other proper Officer of Customs and Excise a Specification in the approved form, duly completed, in duplicate.

3. The entry shall specify, in addition to the other particulars required to be shown therein:--

(a) the name and address of the consignor of the condensed milk;

(b) the name and address of the consignee of the condensed milk; and

(c) the name and address of the owner of the condensed milk ;

and shall in all cases contain a declaration on the part of the person making the entry that the particulars in the entry are true and are correctly stated.

4. The clearance required under paragraph 1 of this Order shall be granted by the signature of the proper Officer of Customs and Excise on the document on which entry has been made in pursuance of this Order.

5. This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of September, 1938.

6. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) , applies to these regulations.

7. This Order may be cited as the Exportation of Condensed Milk (Entry) Order, 1938.
