LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DUBLIN) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1940 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1942.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

WHEREAS by subsection (1) of section 3 of the Local Government (Dublin) (Amendment) Act, 1940 , it is enacted that the Minister for Local Government and Public Health may by order appoint a day to be the appointed day for the purposes of the said Act :

NOW, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers vested in him as aforesaid does hereby order as follows, that is to say :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Dublin) (Amendment) Act, 1940 (Appointed Day) Order, 1942.

2. The appointed day for the purposes of the Local Government (Dublin) (Amendment) Act, 1940 , shall be the 24th day of August, 1942.
