ELECTRIC FILAMENT LAMPS (SUSPENSION OF CUSTOMS DUTIES) ORDER, 1947. | ||
The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows:— | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Electric Filament Lamps (Suspension of Customs Duties) Order, 1947. | ||
2. The duty of customs imposed on certain electric filament lamps by section 8 of the Finance Act, 1939 (No. 18 of 1939), is hereby suspended, during the period beginning on the 21st day of July, 1947, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1948, in respect of electric filament lamps the voltage of which does not exceed 24 volts. | ||
