NATIONAL HEALTH COUNCIL (ESTABLISHMENT) ORDER, 1948. |
||
The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 98 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) hereby orders as follows :-- |
||
1. A council to be called " The National Health Council " is hereby established to give to the Minister for Health when so required by him advice on matters affecting or incidental to the health of the people. |
||
2. Each of the persons named in the Schedule hereto is hereby appointed to be a member of the National Health Council. |
||
3. Every member of the National Health Council appointed to be a member by this Order shall hold office (unless he sooner dies, resigns or is removed by the Minister) for a period of two years commencing on the date of this Order. |
||
4. This Order may be cited as the National Health Council (Establishment) Order, 1948. |
