EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 157) ORDER, 1942 (SIXTH AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :-- |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (Sixth Amendment) Order, 1948. |
||
2. The Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 96 of 1942), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (Fifth Amendment) Order, 1947 (S. R. & O. No. 379 of 1947), shall have effect as if the amount in the third column of the Schedule thereto at reference number 3 were deleted and the amount " £6,000,000 " inserted in lieu thereof. |
