MERCHANT SHIPPING (SAFETY CONVENTION) ACT, 1952 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1953. |

The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 2 of the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Act, 1952 (No. 29 of 1952), hereby order as follows :-- |
||

1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Act, 1952 (Commencement) Order, 1953. |
||
|
2. The 19th day of November, 1953, is hereby appointed to be the day on which the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Act, 1952 , shall come into operation. |
||
|
