COUNTY BOROUGH OF DUBLIN (NUMBER OF WARDS) ORDER, 1954.

COUNTY BOROUGH OF DUBLIN (NUMBER OF WARDS) ORDER, 1954.

The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-articles (1) and (3) of Article 31 of the Local Government (Application of Enactments) Order, 1898, and of every other power in this behalf enabling him, hereby orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the County Borough of Dublin (Number of Wards) Order, 1954.

2. The number of wards into which the County Borough of Dublin shall be divided is hereby fixed at forty-two.

3. Michael B. Lawless, Principal Officer of the Department of Local Government, is hereby appointed to be the Commissioner to prepare a scheme for determining the boundaries of the said wards.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government, this Seventh day of January, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-four.
