HARBOUR RATES (WESTPORT HARBOUR) (RATES ON FERTILISER) ORDER, 1956. |

I, WILLIAM NORTON, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows : |
||
1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Westport Harbour) (Rates on Fertiliser) Order, 1956. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the third day of August, 1956. |
||
2. Section 30 of and Schedule B to the Westport Port and Harbour Act, 1853, and the Westport Port and Harbour (Temporary Increase of Charges) Order, 1921 (which enactments authorise the maximum goods rates to be charged by the Commissioners of Westport Port and Harbour), shall have effect as if " fertiliser " were inserted in the first column of that Schedule and the maximum rate chargeable thereunder in respect of fertiliser were a rate of one shilling and three-pence per ton. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The above Order fixes a rate of 1/3d. per ton as the maximum goods rate to be charged by the Westport Harbour Commissioners as and from the 3rd August, 1956 on Fertilisers imported through Westport Harbour. |
