S.I. No. 333/1956:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DUBLIN) (TEMPORARY) ACT, 1948 (CONTINUANCE) (No. 2) ORDER, 1956.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DUBLIN) (TEMPORARY) ACT, 1948 (CONTINUANCE) (No. 2) ORDER, 1956.

The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers vested in him by subsection (2) of section 3 of the Local Government (Dublin) (Temporary) Act, 1948 , hereby Orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Dublin) (Temporary) Act, 1948 , (Continuance) (No. 2) Order, 1956.

2. Part II of the Local Government (Dublin) (Temporary) Act, 1948 (No. 15 of 1948) shall continue in force for six months from the 1st day of January, 1957.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this Twenty-eighth day of December One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-six.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order continues in force for six months from the 1st January, 1957, Part II of the Local Government (Dublin) (Temporary) Act, 1948 , which provides that the executive functions of the Dublin Board of Assistance are to be performed by the chief executive officer of the Board.
