CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 16) (FERTILISERS) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, hereby order as follows : |
||
|
1.--(1) This order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 16) (Fertilisers) (Revocation) Order, 1957. |
||
|
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of March, 1957. |
||
|
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||
|
3. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 16) Order, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 66 of 1935 ), is hereby revoked. |
||
|
GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 7th day of March, 1957. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE |
||
|
This instrument revokes the Order which imposed quantitative restrictions on the importation of superphosphates, ground mineral phosphates and compound manures. |
