RIVER LEE HYDRO-ELECTRIC SCHEME APPROVAL ORDER, 1949 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1958.

WHEREAS under subsection (1) of section 5 of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945 (No. 12 of 1945), the Electricity Supply Board has submitted to the Minister for Industry and Commerce an amendment of the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme :

AND WHEREAS the said Minister has considered the said amendment :

NOW, I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945 (No. 12 of 1945), and after consultation with the Minister for Lands, hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1949 (Amendment) Order, 1958.

2. The scheme set out in the Schedule to the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1949 ( S.I. No. 321 of 1949 ), is hereby amended by the deletion of Work No. 5.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this instrument is to delete Work No. 5 from the list of works approved in the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1949. Work No. 5 provided for a diversion of the public road over the River Dripsey on the North Bank of the River Lee.
