CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 6) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1963.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 6) (Revocation) Order, 1963.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of June, 1963.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 6) (Pneumatic Tyres) Order, 1934 (S.R. & O., S.I. No. 264 of 1934 ), which prohibited, subject to certain exceptions and qualifications, the importation into the State of certain articles of personal clothing and wearing apparel, (as amended by the Control of Imports (Quota No. 6) (Personal Clothing) (Amendment) Order, 1955 ( S.I. No. 248 of 1955 ), is hereby revoked.
