ROAD TRAFFIC (WEIGHBRIDGES) REGULATIONS, 1963.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 15 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) hereby makes the following Regulations:--

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Weighbridges) Regulations, 1963.

2. Where a road authority declare a weighbridge to be an appointed weighbridge for the purposes of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 , they shall publish in at least two newspapers circulating in their functional area notice that such weighbridge has been so declared.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations prescribe the notice to be given by a road authority on declaring a weighbridge an appointed weighbridge for the purposes of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 .
