JURY DISTRICTS (NO. 2) ORDER, 1927 (VARIATION) ORDER, 1964.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 1 of the Juries Act, 1927 (No. 23 of 1927), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Jury Districts (No. 2) Order, 1927 (Variation) Order, 1964.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1964.

3. The Jury Districts (No. 2) Order, 1927 ( S. R. & O. No. 86 of 1927 ), is hereby varied by--

(a) the deletion of "Leix," in paragraph 4, and

(b) the deletion of so much of the Schedule as relates to the county of Leix.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is that the whole county of Laois shall comprise one Jury District.
