I, JOSEPH BRENNAN, Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 2 and section 3 of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952), hereby make the following Regulations:-- |

1. --(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Welfare (Persons Treated as Employers) (No. 2) Regulations, 1967. |
||||||
(2) These Regulations and the Social Welfare (Persons Treated as Employers) Regulations, 1953 and 1967 may be cited collectively as the Social Welfare (Persons Treated as Employers) Regulations, 1953 to 1967. |
||||||
2. In these Regulations-- |
||||||
"the Acts" means the Social Welfare Acts, 1952 to 1967. |
||||||
3. In relation to the employment specified in the first column of the Schedule to these Regulations, the person specified opposite thereto in the second column shall for the purposes of the Acts be treated as the employer of the employed contributor employed in that employment. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||||||
This Regulation specifies the Minister for Education as the person to be treated for the purposes of the Social Welfare Acts, 1952 to 1967, as the employer of a person employed as a teacher in a comprehensive school established by the Minister for Education. |
