MERCHANT SHIPPING (LOAD LINES) ACT, 1968 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1968.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 32 (4) of the Merchant Shipping (Load Lines) Act, 1968 (No. 17 of 1968), hereby make the following Order:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Load Lines) Act, 1968 (Commencement) Order, 1968.

2. The 4th day of October, 1968, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Merchant Shipping (Load Lines) Act, 1968 (No. 17 of 1968), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
