HARBOUR RATES (DUNDALK HARBOUR) ORDER, 1969. |

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows : |

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1969. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 16th day of July, 1969. |
||
2. Section 43 of the Dundalk Harbour and Port Act, 1925 (No. 3 (Private) of 1925), shall have effect as if for " one shilling and six pence " (inserted by the Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 69 of 1962 )) there were substituted " three shillings ". |

3. The Harbour Rates (Dundalk Harbour) Order, 1962, is hereby revoked. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is to authorise the Dundalk Harbour Commissioners to charge a revised maximum tonnage rate at Dundalk Harbour. |
