AIR NAVIGATION (EUROCONTROL) (ROUTE CHARGES) (AMENDMENT) (No. 3) REGULATIONS, 1973.

I, PETER BARRY, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 12 of the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) Act, 1963 (No. 15 of 1963), as amended by section 1 of the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) Act, 1971 (No. 19 of 1971), hereby make the following regulations (the charges thereunder having been determined by me in pursuance of tariffs approved of under an international agreement to which the State is a party);

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1973, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1974.

(2) The collective citation "the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 to 1973," shall include these Regulations.

2. (1) The Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 ( S.I. No. 290 of 1971 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for the Schedule of the Schedule set out in the Annex to these Regulations.

(2) The reference in the preceding paragraph to the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971, is to those Regulations as amended by the Regulations amending them which were made before the commencement of these Regulations and of which the last is the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1973 ( S.I. No. 290 of 1973 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for the amendment of existing charges to take account of the recent revaluation of the German Mark and the Netherlands Guilder.
