MAXIMUM PRICES (PETROL) (No. 2) ORDER, 1974.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Petrol) (No. 2) Order, 1974.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 5th day of December, 1974.

3. The Maximum Prices (Petrol) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 109 of 1974 ), shall have effect as if each of the prices specified in column (3) of the Schedule was increased by 14.2p.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order increases the maximum prices at which petrol of the grades set out in the Schedule to the Maximum Prices (Petrol) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 109 of 1974 ) may be sold by retail.
