CRIMINAL JUSTICE (COMMUNITY SERVICE) ACT, 1983 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1984.

I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 16 of the Criminal Justice (Community Service) Act, 1983 (No. 23 of 1983), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Community Service) Act, 1983 (Commencement) Order, 1984.

2. The 5th day of December, 1984, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Community Service) Act, 1983 (No. 23 of 1983), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 5th day of December, 1984 as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Community Service) Act, 1983 (No. 23 of 1983) comes into operation, in accordance with section 16 of the said Act.
