S.I. No. 221/1991:

VIDEO RECORDINGS ACT, 1989 (FEES) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1991.

VIDEO RECORDINGS ACT, 1989 (FEES) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1991.

I, RAY BURKE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 10 and 18 of the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (No. 22 of 1989), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (Fees) (No. 2) Regulations, 1991.

2. In these Regulations "the Act" means the Video Recordings Act, 1989 (No. 22 of 1989).

3. A fee of £5 is hereby prescribed for the purposes of subsection (3) (b) of section 10 of the Act.

4. A fee of £50 is hereby prescribed for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 10.

5. A fee of £4,000 is hereby prescribed for the purposes of subsection (1) of section 18 of the Act.

6. A fee of £100 is hereby prescribed for the purposes of subsection (2) of the said section 18.

7. The Video Recordings Act, 1989 (Fees) Regulations, 1991 ( S.I. No. 38 of 1991 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations prescribe the fees to be charged in relation to appeals under section 10 against prohibition orders and for licences issued under section 18 of the Video Recordings Act, 1989 .
