SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 19) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 19) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 19 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , hereby orders as follows:--

Short title.

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (Section 19) (Commencement) Order, 1992.
Commencement.

2. Section 19 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings section 19 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , which provides for the rationalisation of the Social Welfare maternity allowance schemes, into effect from 6 April, 1992.
