An Foras Áiseanna Saothair in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 24 of the Industrial Training Act, 1967 (No. 5 of 1967), and Section 4 (2) of the Labour Services Act, 1987 , (No. 15 of 1987), hereby makes the following Order:-- |

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Training (Construction Committee) (Amendment) Order, 1992. |
||
|
2. In this Order "the Order of 1969" means the Industrial Training (Construction Committee) Order, 1969. |
||
|
3. The Order of 1969 and this Order may be cited together as the Industrial Training (Construction Committee) Orders, 1969 and 1992. |
||
|
4. Article 7 of the Order of 1969 is hereby amended by the substitution of "three years and three months" for "three years". |
||
|

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
An Foras Áiseanna Saothair (The Training and Employment Authority) was established under the Labour Services Act, 1987 as successor to An Chomhairle Oiliúna (The Industrial Training Authority). |
||
|
The Industrial Training (Construction Committee) Order, 1969 made by An Chomhairle Oiliúna established an Industrial Training Committee, to be known as the Construction Industry Training Committee, to advise and assist An Chomhairle Oiliúna, as respects the performance of its functions. All such functions have now been transferred to An Foras Áiseanna Saothair under the above mentioned Act. This Order amends the Industrial Training (Construction Committee) Order, 1969 by extending the term of office of the members of the Committee from three years to three years and three months. |
