SOCIAL WELFARE (NO. 2) ACT, 1993 (PART II) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1994.

SOCIAL WELFARE (NO. 2) ACT, 1993 (PART II) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1994.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 10 of the Social Welfare (No. 2) Act, 1993 (No. 32 of 1993), hereby orders as follows:--

Citation.

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare (No. 2) Act, 1993 (Part II) (Commencement) Order, 1994.
Commencement.

2. Part II of the Social Welfare (No. 2) Act, 1993 shall come into operation on the 23rd day of February, 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings Part II of the Social Welfare (No. 2) Act, 1993 (No. 32 of 1993) into effect from the 23rd day of February, 1994.

Part II of the Social Welfare (No. 2) Act, 1993 provides for the introduction of a scheme of social insurance for persons engaged in share fishing.
