I, NORA OWEN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (1) of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970), and after consultation with the Visiting Committee to Saint Patrick's Institution, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Prisons Act, 1970 (Section 7) Order, 1995.

2. The period of 2 years beginning on the 28th day of June, 1995, is hereby specified for the purposes of section 7 of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970).
