WESTERN DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ACT, 1998 (ESTABLISHMENT DAY) ORDER, 1999.

I, JOE WALSH, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6, of the Western Development Commission Act, 1998 (No. 42 of 1998) , hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Western Development Commission Act, 1998 (Establishment Day) Order, 1999.

2. The 1st day of February, 1999, is hereby appointed to be the establishment day for the purposes of the Western Development Commission Act, 1998 (No. 42 of 1998) .

This Order appoints 1 February, 1999 as the day on which the Western Development Commission is to be established.
