CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACT, 1999 (PARTS I AND II) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1999.

I, JOHN O'DONOGHUE, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2(2) of the Criminal Justice Act, 1999 (No. 10 of 1999) , hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act, 1999 (Parts I and II) (Commencement) Order, 1999.

2. The 26th day of May, 1999, is hereby fixed as the day on which Parts I and II of the Criminal Justice Act, 1999 (No. 10 of 1999) , shall come into operation.
