The Government, on the request of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977) , hereby order as follows: |
||||||||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 2000. |
||||||||
|
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform conferred on him by or under the Children Acts, 1908 to 1989, are hereby delegated to Mary Hanafin, Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. |
