AGRICULTURE, FOOD AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 2001

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 ( No. 28 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 2001.

2.        All the powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development conferred on the Minister -

(a) by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order,

(b) by or under the Land Purchase Acts and, in relation to the Irish Land Commission, by or under the Ministers and Secretaries Acts, 1924 ( No. 16 of 1924 ),

are hereby delegated to Éamon ó Cuív, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development.
