NATIONAL BEEF ASSURANCE SCHEME ACT, 2000 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 2001.

I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on my by section 1(5) of the National Beef Assurance Scheme Act. 2000 ( No. 2 of 2000 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Beef Assurance Scheme Act, 2000 (Commencement) Order, 2001.

2. The 13^th day of August, 2001, is hereby appointed as the day on which Part I, sections of Part II not already commenced, Part III and Part IV shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation Part I, sections of Part II not already commenced, Part III and Part IV of the National Beef Assurance Scheme Act, 2000 , ( No. 2 of 2000 ) regarding the implementation of the National Beef Assurance Scheme.
