S.I. No. 184 of 2006

ORDER

entitled

Teaching Council Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2006

I, Mary Hanafin T.D., Minister for Education and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Teaching Council Act 2001 (No. 8 of 2001), hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the Teaching Council Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2006.

2.   The 28th day of March 2006 is appointed as the day on which so much of the Teaching Council Act 2001 (No. 8 of 2001) as is not in operation comes into operation, except-

(a)      paragraphs (f), (g) and (i) of section 7(2),

(b)      sections 30, 39 and 60, and

(c)      Part 5.
