NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL DISSOLUTION ORDER 2007

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 (No. 6 of 1971) and the National Roads and Road Traffic (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 298 of 2002 ) (as adapted by the Public Enterprise (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2002 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Safety Council Dissolution Order 2007.

2. The following are revoked:

(a) the National Safety Council (Establishment) Order 1987 ( S.I. No. 327 of 1987 ), and

(b) the National Safety Council (Establishment) Order 1987 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1999 ( S.I. No. 360 of 1999 ),

and, accordingly, the National Safety Council is dissolved.
