Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 26th July, 2013.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (5) of the Water Services Act 2013 (No. 6 of 2013), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Water Services Act 2013 (Prescribed Persons) Order 2013.

2. In this Order-

“the Act” means “the Water Services Act 2013 ”.

3. The following shall be a relevant person for the purposes of section 26(5) of the Act-

“the Board as defined in Section 2 of the Act”.

The purpose for which this Order is made is to prescribe that Bord Gáis Éireann is a relevant person for the purposes of Section 26 of the Water Services Act 2013 .
