I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2013 (No. 32 of 2013), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2013 (Sections 3 to 12) (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. The 11th day of January 2014 is appointed as the day on which Sections 3 to 12 of the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2013 (No. 32 of 2013) shall come into operation.

This Order appoints 11th day of January 2014 as the date on which the provisions of Part 2 (Sections 3 to 12) of the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2013 come into operation. Part 2 provides for amendment of rules relating to certain proceedings heard otherwise than in public (in camera rule).
