Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

"Iris Oifigiúil" of 12th December, 2014.

I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2014 (Section 10 (a) to (e) and (h)) (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. The day fixed as the day on which-

(a) paragraph (a)(i)(I) and (III),

(b) paragraphs (b) to (e) (other than subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c)), and

(c) paragraph (h),

of section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014) come into operation is 8 December 2014.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings Section 10(a)(i)(I) and (III), (b) to (e)(with the exception of subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c)), and (h) of the Road Traffic Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014) into operation with effect from 8 December 2014.
