S.I. No. 422/2016 - Justice and Equality (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2016.


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 2nd August, 2016.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Justice and Equality and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Justice and Equality (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2016.

2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Justice and Equality conferred on her by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule are delegated to David Stanton, Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality.

Betting Acts 1931 to 2015

Gaming and Lotteries Acts 1956 to 2013

Part III of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act 1990 (No. 12 of 1990)

Maternity Protection Acts 1994 and 2004

Adoptive Leave Acts 1995 and 2005

Employment Equality Acts 1998 to 2015 (other than sections 27 (2) and 37 (4) of the Employment Equality Act 1998 (No. 21 of 1998))

Parental Leave Acts 1998 and 2006
