Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st January, 2019. | ||
I, Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 (1), 448 and 558 of the Companies Act 2014 (No. 38 of 2014) hereby make the following regulations: | ||
(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Companies Act 2014 (Prescribed Professional Bodies) Regulations 2018. | ||
(2) The following professional bodies are prescribed for the purposes of Section 448 and 558 of the Companies Act 2014 (No. 38 of 2014): | ||
(a) prescribed bodies of accountants within the meaning of “prescribed accountancy body” in section 900 (1) of the Companies Act 2014 , and | ||
(b) the Law Society of Ireland. | ||
