I, Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22 (1) of the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (No. 5 of 1997) (as adapted by the Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017 (S.I. No. 364 of 2017)), hereby make the following Regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations 2019. | ||
2. The Irish Stock Exchange plc (Companies Registration Office registered number 539157) is hereby prescribed as a recognised stock exchange for the purposes of the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (No. 5 of 1997). | ||
3. The Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 (Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations 1997 ( S.I. No. 256 of 1997 ) are revoked. | ||

These Regulations prescribe The Irish Stock Exchange plc (the successor in function to Irish Stock Exchange Limited) as a stock exchange for the purposes of the Irish Takeover Panel Act 1997 . |
