S.I. No. 334/2019 - Gaeltacht Act 2012 (Designation of Gaeltacht Language Planning Areas) Order 2019. [Official Translation]


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 9th July, 2019.

I, Seán Kyne, Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (2) of the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (No. 34 of 2012) (as adapted by the Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017 (S.I. No. 350 of 2017)) and the Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2018 (S.I. No. 449 of 2018), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (Designation of Gaeltacht Language Planning Areas) Order 2019.

2. The areas specified in the Schedule are designated to be a Gaeltacht Language Planning Area for the purposes of section 7 (2) of the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (No. 34 of 2012).

SCHEDULE

Language Planning Area: Dún na nGall Theas, Co. Dhún na nGall

(1) The following electoral division areas: Cill Charthaigh, Cill Ghabhlaigh, Cró Chaorach, Gleann Cholm Cille, Inis Caoil and Málainn Bhig.

(2) That part of the electoral division area of Ard an Rátha which consists of the following townlands: Carraig an tSléibhe and An Srath Uachtair.

(3) That part of the electoral division area of Gleann Gheis which consists of the following townlands: Áighe, Gleann Gheis, Mín na Coilleadh, Mín na Gualanna, Mín na bPoll, Mín na Téighe, Mínte Seisce and Sceadamán.

(4) That part of the electoral division area of An Leargaidh Mhór which consists of the following townlands: Baile Mún, Cró na Saileach, An Chruach Bheag, Droim na Fiongaile, Gort Sháile, Leirg an Dachtáin, Leitir, Mín Uí Chanann, Mínte Caoracháin, Mucros, An Rualach, Srath Bruithne Íochtarach, Srath Bruithne Uachtarach, An Tamhnaigh and Iomascan.

(5) That part of the electoral division area of Maol Mosóg which consists of the following townlands: Allt na gCapall, An Caiseal, Cnoc na gCapall, Cró an Chaorthainn, Mín an Bhealaigh, Mín Ghiolla Charraigh and Maol Mosóg.
