S.I. No. 252/2021 - Justice (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2021


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 21st May, 2021.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Justice and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Justice (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2021.

2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Justice conferred on her -

(a) by or under the enactments specified in Part 1 of the Schedule,

(b) by or under the provisions of the enactments specified in Part 2 of the Schedule, and

(c) under the enactment specified in Part 3 of the Schedule,

are delegated to Hildegarde Naughton, Minister of State at the Department of Justice.
