I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 44D of the National Oil Reserves Agency Act 2007 (No. 7 of 2007) (as adapted by the Communications, Energy and Natural Resources (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2016 ( S.I. No. 421 of 2016 )), having complied with section 44D(4) of the National Oil Reserves Agency Act 2007 , hereby order as follows: | ||
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the National Oil Reserves Agency Act 2007 (Biofuel Obligation Rate) Order 2022. | ||
(2) This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2022. | ||
2. The percentage rate referred to in section 44C(3)(b) of the National Oil Reserves Agency Act 2007 (No. 7 of 2007) shall be 14.942 per cent. | ||
3. The National Oil Reserves Agency Act 2007 (Biofuel Obligation Rate) Order 2019 ( S.I. No. 38 of 2019 ) is revoked. | ||
