Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 4th August, 2023. | ||
I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (5) of the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (No. 24 of 2023), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2023. | ||
2. In this Order, “Act of 2023” means the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (No. 24 of 2023). | ||
3. The 1st day of August 2023 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2023 shall come into operation: | ||
(a) Part 1 (other than subsections (3) and (4) of section 1); | ||
(b) Part 3; | ||
(c) sections 61 and 62; | ||
(d) section 71; | ||
(e) section 74; | ||
(f) section 78; | ||
(g) section 86. | ||
