DECISION

 

The respondent in breach of contract has not paid the claimant arrears of pay of £1,160.39 and one day’s holiday pay of £44.38 due on termination of her employment.  The respondent shall pay the claimant £1,204.77 in respect of net unpaid wages and holiday pay.

Mr Liam Ward, Managing Director of the respondent Company appeared on behalf of the respondent.

 

 

1.         The claimant complained in her claim that she had not received one month’s salary for January 2012 and two days holiday pay accrued due to her following termination of her employment on 31 January 2012.

 

2.         The respondent disputed the claimant’s entitlement to two day’s holiday pay.

 

3.         The parties agreed at hearing that net pay of £1,160.39 for the month of January 2012 and one day’s holiday pay of £44.38 net was due by the respondent to the claimant following termination of her employment.

 

4.         Reasons for the decision were given at hearing.

 

5.         This decision is a relevant decision under the Industrial Tribunal (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
