The claimant appeared in person and represented himself.

 

The respondent was represented by Mr Michael Large.

 

 

1.       The claimant’s claim for unpaid wages and for arrears of holiday pay were found to be well-founded.  I gave brief oral reasons at the hearing.  I ordered the respondent to pay to the claimant the following sums:

 

(1)      Arrears of pay in the sum of £372.59.

 

(2)      Pay in lieu of holidays accrued but not taken      £336.52.

 

In total therefore I order the respondent to pay to the claimant the sum of £709.11.

 

 

2.       This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
