THE INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS

CASE REF: 45/18

CLAIMANT: Anne Clara Barr

RESPONDENT: 1. Smart Kids (Gilford) Ltd

2. Joanne Marks

DEFAULT JUDGEMENT

  1. The relevant time limit for presenting a response has expired. A response has been accepted and the respondent has stated in its response that it does not intend to resist the claim.

  1. I have decided to determine the following claims without a hearing. I determine as follows:

The claimant's redundancy pay claim against Smart Kids (Gilford) Ltd is well-founded. It is declared that the respondent is liable to make a redundancy payment of £ 597 to the claimant.

  1. The amount of the redundancy payment is the amount which has been agreed by the parties.

  1. The claimant has withdrawn her proceedings against Ms Marks. Accordingly, the proceedings against Ms Marks are dismissed.

  1. I am satisfied that the correct title of the first respondent is as stated above and the title of these proceedings has been amended accordingly.

  1. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
