COUNTY COURTS (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1980 - SECT 68



68.(1) Any statutory provision conferring jurisdiction (other than original
criminal jurisdiction) on, or otherwise referring to any such jurisdiction of,

(a)a civil bill court, a court of quarter sessions, general quarter sessions,
general sessions of the peace, justices in quarter sessions, a recorder's
court or sessions of the peace for a county shall be construed as referring to
a county court exercising the jurisdiction so conferred or referred to or a
like jurisdiction conferred by any other statutory provision;

(b)a chairman of quarter sessions, an assistant barrister or a recorder of a
borough shall be construed as referring to a county court judge presiding over
a court in the exercise of such jurisdiction as aforesaid.
