CONVICT PRISONS (IRELAND) ACT 1854 - LONG TITLE

An Act for the Formation, Regulation, and Government of Convict
Prisons in Ireland.{1}

CONVICT PRISONS (IRELAND) ACT 1854 - SECT 28
Directors and governors and officers of convict prisons to be within
the provisions of the Civil Service Superannuation Acts.

28. The directors to be appointed by the Lord Lieutenant under this
Act, and the governors and all inferior officers whatsoever belonging
to convict prisons in Ireland, shall be within the provisions of
the several Acts passed for regulating pensions, compensations, and
allowances to be made to persons in respect of their having held
civil offices in her Majesty's service, to all intents and purposes,
as if the said directors, governors, and officers of the said
several convict prisons had been mentioned in the schedules to the
said Acts.
