68. A board may, at such rates as the Ministry approves, (a)defray any travelling or other expenses reasonably incurred by any person in making official visits, whether inside or outside the United Kingdom, on behalf of the board; (b)defray any expenses [reasonably] incurred in the reception and entertainment of distinguished persons [residing in or] visiting the area of the board and persons representative of or connected with any public service whether inside or outside the United Kingdom and in the supply of information to such persons.
